Energy Healing Paths - IET® and Reiki

Energy healing is a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on balancing and restoring the flow of energy within the body. It is based on the understanding that disruptions or blockages in the body's energy system can lead to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.  

IET® is a holistic healing therapy that focuses on the energy system of the body to promote physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is based on the concept that blockages or disruptions in the body's energy flow can lead to various issues, including physical pain, emotional distress, and life challenges.

These blockages or disruptions can be due to traumas, stress, limiting beliefs and/or patterns you have that are adversely impacting your wellbeing from a physical, mental and emotional perspective.  Blockages and disruptions create imbalance as they are stored in cellular memory areas of the body.  IET® works to restore balance by clearing the blockages.  Once cleared empowering energy is introduced.  Examples of this include, but are not limited to:  guilt being replaced with innocence, threat with support, heartache/betrayal with love.  

IET®  is often used to address a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, trauma, physical pain, and spiritual growth.  

 Reiki is a form of alternative medicine that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: "rei," which means universal, and "ki," which means life energy or vital energy. 

As a Reiki Master, I believe that there is a universal energy that flows through all living things, and by channeling this energy through my hands, in doing so, I can promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being in the client.  I act as a conduit for the universal energy to flow through.

It is a continuous loop of energy exchange between the universal energy, myself as the practitioner and you as the recipient.  

Visualize a glass of water with sediment that has settled in the bottom of the glass.  This sediment is considered to be a block or disruption within your subtle energy system.

Reiki energy acts as a pitcher of water to  introduce a new flow of clean water into the glass.  As the clean water continues to be inroduced, it begins to move the sediment until the water becomes clear in the glass. 

Before the session begins I'll ask for your permission to work with your energy.  Once granted, the work begins and you may experience sensations such as warmth, tingling, or relaxation during the session. 

During the session I'll be working with your body's energy centers, known as chakras, as well as the meridian system, to clear and release energy blockages. This is done through gentle touch and specific hand placements on the body, as well as the use of intention and visualization techniques.

In person sessions are held at my office in Uxbridge, MA.  During the session you are fully clothed, on a massage table for the duration of the energy work.  

Remote or distance sessions are done via Zoom.  During the session you are fully clothed and in a comfortable position of your choosing for the duration of the energy work.

At the end of either in person or remote session, time is saved to discuss any concerns and/or messages received if you choose to receive them.

During an energy healing session, many of my clients experience a sense of relaxation.  Occasionally, there is an emotional release as disruption and blockages are removed.  Completely normal, especially since you have likely been hanging onto to the blockage or disruption for an extended period of time.

At the end of the session there is an overall sense of well-being and peace. 

 1. Nature of IET®  and Reiki Sessions: both are a gentle energy healing modality that aims to release suppressed emotions, promote healing, and facilitate personal transformation. It is not a substitute for professional medical treatment, therapy, or counseling.

2. Energy Healing: IET® sessions and Reiki involve the gentle placement of hands on or above the body to channel healing energy and release energetic blockages. IET® and Reiki practitioners act as conduits for this healing energy, and the effectiveness of the treatment may vary from person to person.

3. No Guarantees: While many individuals experience positive benefits from IET® or Reiki sessions, including feelings of relaxation, emotional release, and improved well-being, there are no guarantees of specific outcomes. Results may vary depending on individual circumstances, readiness to receive healing, and other factors.

4. Not a Replacement for Professional Care: IET® and Reiki sessions should not be used as a substitute for professional medical care, therapy, or counseling. Clients with medical or psychological conditions should consult with qualified healthcare providers before seeking IET®, Reiki or any other complementary therapy.

5. Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their own well-being and should communicate openly with the IET® or Reiki practitioner about any medical conditions, concerns, or preferences. Clients should also follow any recommendations provided by their healthcare providers.

6. Confidentiality: All information shared during IET® or Reiki sessions will be kept confidential unless required by law or with the client's consent. IET® or Reiki practitioners adhere to professional ethics and standards of confidentiality.
